His former owner informed me her husband disliked dogs and she was forced to chain this little fellow out. She said her husband did not like dogs in the house and she was afraid hevwpuld hurt him. Little Buddy came to life at my place. He is happy to be inside and to be around me and my other pets. He melts my heart because he is sincerely grateful and he shows me everyday. Buddy's picture reflects the fact he has just received a new hair cut.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Burlington Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
