Frannie is Adopted
Frannie is currently fostered in Willowick Ohio, and her adoption fee/donation is $200
Frannie is a 7 yr old black female cocker spaniel.
She came to our rescue from a shelter in Indianapolis, where she was found as a stray.
Frannie was a complete mess when found, she was in such bad shape, we had no idea what kind of medical conditions we would find with this girl, but she was so super sweet, and very deserving of love.
We pulled her from that shelter and cleaned her up. She was bleeding from her vaginal area, we thought she was in heat.
The blood turned out to be much more than just a female heat cycle, she was full of bladder stones.
Frannie was taken to our vet where they discovered her bladder stones, a horrific UTI, RESPIRATORY INFECTION, CHERRY EYE, DRY EYE, Enlarged heart, YOU NAME IT, IT SEEMED THIS GIRL HAD IT!!!
Frannie had a long road ahead of her, starting with bladder surgery to remove the stones, but first she went through several rounds of antibiotic therapy, chest X-rays, exams to check her progress.
Once healed from the bladder surgery we had to then get her spayed, and her teeth cleaned.
She is healed now from her surgeries and is doing so much better.
Frannie is on medication for her enlarged heart, as well as melds for dry eye, and she will require special dog food to avoid future bladder stones.
She is special needs, and comes with some health issues, but her temperament is GOLDEN!!!
This girl is as sweet as they come, she is good with all other animals, children, and people in general.
Frannie is so full of happiness, love, and wants nothing more than to give love and receive it.
She is a wonderful cocker girl, she is house trained, well behaved, She is full of life! She has a lot of energy, loves to play and loves attention.
We are looking for that special person to adopt our sweet Frannie.
We know she will require extra special care, but this girl is so worth it!!!

Pet needs to be picked up at foster home.
In some cases we may be able to assist with transport.
