Luna's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Luna's Story...

Luna is very well adjusted, has no issues meeting people, with other dogs (large or small), and is just happy go lucky.  She does expect and demand attention all of the time, so if you are working on a laptop, she expects to be under your arms between your body and the computer.

She is a pretty small girl overall, only weighing around 8 lbs, and a lovely white with red fawn patches.  Her teeth were just cleaned so they are nice and white too.  Luna is trained to go potty on pads, but will go outside on a leash too.  She will try to mark where other dogs have gone potty, so she needs to be given the opportunity to find a few spots to fully relieve herself.

Luna is a very sweet 2.5 year old Italian Greyhound.  Luna was picked up by another IG owner before she was surrendered to a shelter, and they kept her for a while, but decided it two dogs was more than they needed.  So, now she is ready to make some lucky home really happy.  Luna is very well mannered, other than giving you kisses every chance she gets (in the mouth too).  She has a lighting tongue, so be ready.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Westbury Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Westbury, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Westbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
