Meet this beautiful girl named Summer! She came into the shelter June 29, 2017 as a stray and was not reclaimed so she is now awaiting her happily ever after! She is around 2 months old and has received her 1st set of vaccinations. Summer will get follow up booster when due while in the care of CCHS if adopted before the new owner will be responsible. She is a little shy at first but warms up nicely and will thrive once in a loving home. She is in a cage with another kitten and I think that has helped her to settle in a little better. Stop by the shelter and visit with this sweetie today and adopt her into your family and give her a fabulous life she so deserves.
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep Adopt a Pet as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too. Maybe you will have some time for snuggle and love on us while you're here. It makes the cats time here more enjoyable to get love & attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery (some vets honor the voucher 100%)...such a great deal while saving a life!! All of the cats are tested for FIV as well as Lukemia before being adopted out as well. The shelter hours are M-F 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4.
