Indy's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Indy's Story...
Indy is new in our program but he has already become a favorite. He's small for a male at only 55 pounds, but he'll probably beef up a bit as time goes on. He's about 2 1/2 years old. Since Indy was very recently neutered, we haven't partnered him with any other dogs yet, but early signs seem to indicate he'll be dog-social, certainly with some dogs. He's on the quiet side in our brief experience with him, but he'll need a bit of training to be easy to walk on leash. He seems very obedient so this should not be a challenge for him. He certainly showed his endearing and affectionate side to all of the volunteers in the short time we have known him. Indy is at the rescue in Fillmore, ca so if you have any questions then please contact us at dobierescue@earthlink.net or 805-524-5102.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indy, a Fillmore Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fillmore, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fillmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fillmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fillmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fillmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
