Bengal mix, DOB February 2013.

Shire is a beautiful, spunky cat with tons of personality. Her current owner is moving out of country and sadly has to find her a new home. It takes her a while to warm up to people, but she is a very loyal and sweet cat, who demands cuddles from her owner and likes curling up with him at night. Every night she greets him at the door when he gets home and makes a display of rolling around the floor meowing. She then insists on being picked up and carried around!

Shire has been in a one cat household for most of her life, and would be happiest that way. She is part Bengal and has tons of energy - she loves her play time! She can sometimes lash out when her energy is pent up but her moods are easy to read. She would do well with someone who will play with her regularly and give her lots of enrichment, and would not be well suited for a loud household or one with children.

She is a smart cat who loves to check out what you're working on! Her owner and her sometimes play peek-a-boo - he'll turn to face the other way or hide around the corner and when he pops back up she lets out a meow in response. Shire is looking for a loving home.
