Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ruby may have the saddest face but she is the sweetest girl. We're sure she'll look a little happier when she's been adopted and she's pampered in a loving home. This smart girl knows sit, stay, and lay down. She is 8 years old and weighs 90 pounds. She came to the shelter as a stray with ID but the shelter website does not have a name for her. So volunteers have named her Ruby.
No owner has come forward to claim her and since she came in June 21st, she is now available for adoption. The shelter has put her breed as a German Shepherd but we see maybe Shar Pei, maybe lab. Ruby is micro-chipped and up to date with shots. It appears that Ruby was spayed as a baby at the shelter. Ruby is in Run 805 and her ID is 597273. She has tested positive for heart worms and will need to be treated for those. Speak to your vet about treatment options.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
