AARF only adopts in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding area.

"Hello!" My name is Dottie! You're wondering why the sign language picture? Well, I'm deaf and my foster parents are working on sign language commands with me. I've learned "sit" and "off" so far! I'm very smart, but my foster mommy says I'm the best doggy to nap with. I'm the snuggliest! I love a good nap! She says I can be a little lazy. Whatever! I earned my right to relax! I'm a good girl who has learned to go potty outside, and I'm ok in the the crate. I get upset at night. I do not like the dark alone. I would prefer to have another doggy playmate or someone to help me acclimate to my new home. I get along with everyone. I'm very friendly and love to give kisses whether you like it or not! My foster parents can teacher you how to work with me. I'm an easy going pup with a ton of love. Do you have enough love for me?
