Lucky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lucky's Story...
Lucky was dropped off at a shelter by the children of a lady who could no longer care for him. He is reported to be 7 years old but our vet felt he might be a little older. He is a wonderful little guy with natural tail and years. He loves to be cuddled, play, take walks and eat. He learned to open the cabinet door where the dog food is kept. When I came home both he and my little guy had helped themselves. They looked like little barrels on pegs.

Lucky is housebroken and very friendly. (He has not been exposed to children while living with me). He reminds me of Tramp in the Disney cartoon "Lady and the Tramp." When he finds his forever home, we will find it hard to let him go.
Lucky is being fostered by Pat in Cincinnati, OH. pmiller0000@aol.com. To fill out an application for Lucky go to http://www.sfralouisville.com/SFRAWEB/online_application.htm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Cincinnati Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
