My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hobbes - 2 year old male purebred Miniature Schnauzer. Hobbes and Harlow (Harlow has been adopted) were rescued from a LA county shelter right after 4th of July. They came in as "strays" along with 2 other Miniature Schnauzers... all of them in awful matted shape and all under socialized. The other 2 schnauzers were picked up by another rescue but we rescued Hobbes and Harlow. Hobbes had an eye deformity as it was not fully developed and our vet recommended removing it. He is currently healing and will look much better after its totally healed and his fur grows over it. He will probably be available in mid August after he has completely healed. Hobbes was skittish and scared when he arrived as we do not think he had much interaction with people. In the short time he has been here he has turned around into a friendly little guy who loves attention. Hobbes has natural ears and a natural tail.. his tail however appears as if it was broken off at some point as its only about 3/4 of a tail that has a kink in it. Hobbes will need to go to a home with another dog. He is a tiny fellow at approximately 12 pounds.
