My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stanford is the most adorable terrier mix. He is approx 12 months old and 15 lbs. He is just the sweetest little boy. He gets along with all of his rescue buddies. He loves to run and play. He does pretty well on leash but could do with some more leash training. He is pretty well house trained and is learning very quickly by running out to the yard with his buddies. He loves toys, people, and has a really nice disposition,and would love a buddy to play with.

The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
