Ella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Ella's Story...
Ella is an adorable 6 year old mixed breed surrendered to a local shelter because her owner's home was foreclosed. She looks like a shrunken yellow lab at about 15 pounds full grown, and may have some chihuahua, IG, min pin, shiba inu, sheltie, ??? in her. She is nervous at first but very sweet and will do well in a calmer adult home. Please submit an application from our website www.secondchance.petfinder.com if you are interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella, a Oak Ridge Italian Greyhound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Oak Ridge, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Oak Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
