The Humane Society of Greater Miami is a not-for-profit charitable animal welfare organization supported solely by donations, private grants and fundraising events. More than 250 homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are cared for every day in our shelter. We are a limited admit, adoption guarantee facility where animals are safe from the threat of euthanasia. The Humane Society of Greater Miami offers many services to the community, such as: Low-cost and free spay/neuter surgeries, micro chipping, vaccinations and flea control for pets, Humane education (teaching children about kindness to animals), Quality pet adoption services, Pet assisted therapy

LOOKING FOR A NEW BEST FRIEND? Dog/puppy adoptions include: Spay/neuter • Age Appropriate Vaccinations • De-worming • Microchip identification and registration • Miami-Dade County dog license or puppy tag • Engraved ID tag • Dogs screened for heartworm and tick borne diseases; • Free bag of Purina food • Free Pet Insurance for 30 days • New parent support.
Match-A-Pet - $195 adoption fee 2 months to 4 years old - $135 adoption fee Dogs 4 years and older - $100 adoption fee
Cat/Kittens adoptions include: Spay/neuter • Age Appropriate Vaccinations • De-worming • Microchip identification and registration • FeLV and FIV tests • Cardboard cat carrier • Free bag of Purina food • Free Pet Insurance for 30 days • New parent support.
All kittens 2-6 months - $50 adoption fee Cats 6 months and older - $35 adoption fee 2nd Cat of Any Age - $10 (Must be adopted the same day)
