My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mika is our 4-5 month old shepherd/ aussie mix puppy. Mika gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then Mika is your girl. She loves to snuggle and just be with you. Oh, and simply one beautiful pup! Her coat is gorgeous. You won't find many like her walking around. The foster family is working on her potty training.

If you are interested in giving Mika a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Here is the link: www.facebook.com/pages/MAR-Mercer-Animal-Rescue-501c3/374149832631589

The application can also be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.

Mika's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough),rabies, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

ALL OUR DOGS START THEIR JOURNEY IN TENNESSEE
Mika is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to her new family once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast. Pick up is available in VA, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, VT.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
