My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruger was actually born in our care, he was adopted as a pup and returned at 1 yr because another baby was on the way. Mom is pittie, dad we think was Akita, or Shepard, or some mix such as that. As with most puppies he is jumpy, his "owners" never worked with him. While he does need a good training class he is a wonderful boy in many ways. He is very sweet, loving, and affectionate. He craves attention and love from his people. He is good with other dogs and cats.
He would do best in a home with older children and dogs his size due to the jumping and his energy level. He would thrive with a big fenced yard and an active family. Would love love love walks and hikes. Loves water, he is in the baby pool every time he goes outside. Just needs someone to look past the puppy behavior and see what a wonderful dog he is. Just needs a little training.
