Polly's Story...
We thought this girl was just a dolly - so we named her Polly. She is a wonderful chocolate Lab. Miss Polly is about 4 years old and is a typical wiggly, "happy to see you", friendly Lab girl.

She is a smaller female at about 57 lbs. Polly still has plenty of enthusiasm for walks and loves to retrieve tennis balls. This girl is not a couch potato! She is ready to go for a ride or even a short run around the block. Her foster family loves her and says she is a peach of a girl.

Polly is up to date on all of her vet care and is ready for a new home.

"In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog."

If you would like to adopt Polly, please submit an adoption application from our website, and see our other great Labs who are looking for their forever homes, happy tails, and more!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polly, a Boston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
