Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Courtesy Listing - Big, loving, athletic American Pit Bull mix needs loving home. Loves to go for walks, runs, and ride in cars. Good with other dogs, and rarely barks. 2 years or older, neutered, has his shots, micro chipped.
Lost, sad, and abandoned, Palomino wandered into the back yard of an apt. complex at Park La Brea. He was tired and hungry and dirty, & the patrol guards had already called animal control to come pick him up. He laid down on a patio, exhausted, and unable to walk any longer. A good samaritan told the guards that he'd take responsibility for the dog, because Ihe didn't want such a beautiful dog, in every way, to be euthanized. To make a long story short, Palomino has now been checked out by the vet & gotten his shots, had a flea bath, has been neutered and micro-
chipped. The vet who performed the surgery said "he showed nothing but kindness," & just wanted to lick everyone & kept wagging his tail. Palomino is boarding at Center Sinai Animal Hospital temporarily, and is being taken for walks. We has also been assessed by a dog trainer who says he's fine with other dogs. Palomino is very loving with people, and very smart. He is learning to walk properly on a leash, w/o pulling. HOWEVER, his rescuers can't keep him because they have two cats & the landlady doesn't allow dogs.
