MEET WIGGLE: Wiggle showed up at a tire shop in Compton ...she is an adorable little girl. she weighs 30 lbs and has a hot dog body with short legs. She could be a Doxie/Corgi mix...or a Corgie mix...she is black and white. She is very sweet and loves her tummy rubbed. She lights up when seeing other dogs. She is a bit timid when first meeting you. She is so ready for a Second Chance and a new home. Won't you call and come meet her....she's a joy!! If you are interested in adopting Wiggle, please e-mail Lori Weise at Downtown Dog Rescue at Lori@modernica.net, or call Lori at 818-407-4145.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wiggle, a Los Angeles Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
