Leila's Story...
Meet Leila, our newest beautiful chocolate Lab female. She is a sweetheart. one of the most affectionate loving dogs we have ever had. Leila appears to be about 2 years old. She probably did not have a great start to her life. She is missing the tip of one of her ears. poor girl. It may have gotten caught on something or possibly another dog bit her. Whatever the reason it just makes her cuter. We would really like to give her a wonderful home so she can have a fresh start with a family that really cares about her.

Leila is wonderful with other dogs and has three other chocolate Labs she plays with every day. She is not the leader of the pack and not he most submissive. Middle of the road temperaments, like Leila, are the easiest to acclimate to a new home.

She is smart and is enjoying her leash walking lessons and basic obedience commands she is learning in her foster home.

Please help complete Leila's rescue give her the home she so deserves!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leila, a Boston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
