Rose is looking for her retirement home. This lovely lady is 8 years young with plenty of love to give! Rose entered a local shelter as a stray. When she came in, it was obvious that this senior had a litter of puppies somewhere that she had been weaning off, as she was lactating. Rose's owner never came to claim her, and a noisy shelter is no place for a senior gal to lay her head. Rose is currently in a foster home enjoying a life full of comfortable beds, couches, and plenty of snuggles while she awaits her forever home. An older dog like this should never be expected to have puppies, but she will no longer have to fear that heavy weight on her body again, Rose will be spayed and finally be able to be someone else's baby for the first time in her life. If you think this gentle soul is the right match for your home, please fill out an adoption application at www.fwpbc.com

Our Adoption Process...

All pets adopted are up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm/flea prevention. Adoption fee for most pets is $150 which helps to cover the costs associated with the vaccines, surgeries, etc.
If you are interested in adoption, you will need to fill out an adoption application to begin the process. We will also do a home check and all members of the family, including other dogs, are required to meet the pet before adoption to ensure a great match.
Adopters are then required to sign an adoption contract. Adopters are required to keep their new pet up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, and see a veterinarian at least once yearly.
