Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We don’t know much about Spencer prior to becoming a FOR pup but we do know this is one dog that definitely loves life. His foster mom says he is probably the happiest puppy she has ever fostered. He loves to play - with his people or his 4 legged (including the cat) foster siblings, or anything that just might qualify as a toy. He loves to zoom around the house or yard and has several sessions a day. He is smart, learning to sit for his treats in just 1 week but still has some work to do on understanding his limits. He immediately makes himself at home and feels he is deserving of quality couch and middle of the bed time whenever he chooses - back to those limits HA! He is crated at night and when left alone and does well. He is working on housebreaking and is doing well with that. He will go to the door when he wants to go outside. Due to his still having a little puppy distraction mentality, you sometimes have to remind him to go potty before he decides it is time to go back inside. He does well wth a routine when possible. He gets along well with people - adults and children - other dogs and cats (altho he thinks cats should play the same as dogs - he’s learning). Due to his high energy, he should be watched around small children as he matures and learns to control his energetic actions. He loves to be with people and to snuggle next to you when he is ready for down time. Spencer will be a great family dog, especially for an active family.
Spencer is neutered, current on vaccines, current on heart worm and flea preventative, microchipped and tested negative for heart worms. He is located in Birmingham, AL, but is available for adoption in your area! Fill out an application for this sweet boy here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/
