Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gidget is a beautiful young adult female Dilute Calico mother kitty who was brought to the HSOV on June 24, 2017 along with her two tiny 3-4 week old kittens after they were found in the Marietta Ohio area.
Gidget has a stunning gray/beige/white medium smooth coat in a dilute calico pattern, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable face with nice ear furnishings and green/gold eyes. She has a calm disposition and appears to have an affectionate personality. Gidget is naturally a little nervous being in an unfamiliar environment with so many other cats nearby :(
Gidget has one gray/white kitten (Maui) and one brown tabby/white kitten (Molokai). Both weighed less than one pound when they entered our shelter. These updated photos were taken on August 14, 2017 and the kittens weighed nearly 2.5 lbs on that date.
Gidget was given vaccinations, wormer, and Capstar flea treatment on June 24, 2017. She weighs 6.2 lbs.
Gidget was combo tested on June 28, 2017 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm (which is also great news for the kittens).
Gidget and her kittens (Maui & Molokai) will be available for adoption when they are ready to be spayed. They are available for foster or rescue at any time.
Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
UPDATE: Gidget, Maui, and Molokai were spayed on November 22, 2017 and were given rabies vaccine. This beautiful mother and her kittens have never been separated so we hope that someone will find it in their heart to adopt them as a trio.
