Sunny came into rescue with a litter of pups and she was feral. Her foster mom has worked with her and she is doing wonderfully! All of her pups have long been adopted and she is hoping for her furever home, too. She is a loving girl who demands a lot of affection from her humans. Potential adopters will be able to speak to her foster mom in order to learn more about Sunny. She is now house trained, crate trained She's about 3 years old and 47 lbs. She gets along with dogs, but will not do well ina home with cats. She was raised with children for first year or so. She walks on lead, pretty well. She is extremely loving once she knows her humans. She is looking for a home that has patience enough to let her acclimate to new surroundings. She is spayed and UTD on all vaccinations. She is microchipped and heart worm negative. She is on a heartworm and flea preventative. Please, you MUST click the following link BEFORE emailing for further information. Pooches & Purrs Cooperative is a group of rescues and individual rescuers that are working hard to find loving homes for the dogs, cats, kittens and puppies that find their way into our care through no fault of their own. Each individual or group has several wonderful dogs In Tennessee, Alabama or Kentucky looking for homes! All of them are completely vetted and neutered/spayed (if age appropriate) and on heartworm protection. All of them come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $500 covers their complete age appropriate vetting and as well as their transportation to your area in Upstate NY.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our rescues don't have an actual shelter building in the Syracuse area. Due to this it is not always possible to meet them prior to their adoption. At times, a dog may be in foster care in NY and their bio will clearly be marked as such so you will know. These southern dogs & cats are brought up to their new owners every other week! We have a 14 day money back guarantee and the pet can be rehomed appropriately if things don't work out. Each group tries hard to get good matches in your homes so that everyone has a happy life together! To date the cooperative has placed several thousand dogs and puppies, cats and kittens in loving homes! Each group has many, many, references of happy adopters that can fill you in on their experience. Just email and they can pass along that information for your convenience. Thanks!
