Meet Tinker. We used to say that Tinker was a stinker. When we rescued her from a kill shelter, they handed her to us using a catch pole. They actually put her straight into a crate. Her foster mom kept her in the crate until she got home and opened the door. It took her 5 days before she came out of the closet she was hiding in. When she did, she jumped on the couch and into her foster mom's lap. It still took her some time to trust but now...watch out.
She loves to play, be held, jump in your arms, kiss on you. She is a gem. She is still shy of strangers and takes a moment to be comfortable. Makes you wonder what some human did to her.
She is now looking for her own forever home. A home where someone knows her past, that she is worth the "getting to know me" stage.
Tinker is a 2 yr old Chihuahua terrier mix. She is fully vetted as well as microchipped. Please open your heart and your home and let Tinker have a warm bed, a nice lap, and lots of toys and good food.
