Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MAGGIE IS LOCATED IN LOUISIANA.
"Maggie" was rescued in June of 2017 from a lonely marsh in Lacombe Louisiana, she was not only starving but also had a broken leg, reason why we believe she was dumped. Thanks to the generosity of "the Freckles Freedom Fund" Maggie had surgery to re-break and realign her leg and has recovered completely at her fosters home.
Maggie is very loving and high energy. She loves to run along beside her foster mom’s bike on outings and would also make a great jogging partner. She is good with other dogs and due to her high energy needs a dog companion with a similar demeanor and a home with older children. She is ok with cats but shows a little too much curiosity in them so preferably, no cats. Maggie currently resides in Metairie, LA.
She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative (will come with 6 mos supply), crate trained and has been through training at K9 Off Leash Training (lifetime guarantee - they will work with adopter(s) to show commands she knows).

*From her foster mom.
Maggie is the most loving girl, she loves unconditionally and will let you know you are everything for her by licking every inch of you face. She gets very exited about meeting new people, can't wait to give them some love. She is very curious and nosy, picks interest on butterflies, lizards, frogs, flowers, etc, she enjoys exploring, smelling and running around the backyard.
Maggie is an active an energetic girl, she would love to have a partner who likes to go jogging or bike riding, she will run next to the bike and help you get your work out in.
She is good with other dogs, though she still has a lot of puppy in her and will want to play nonstop, so she would need to be with a dog that can take the play and her strength.
We would recommend her for a home with grown children, maybe teenagers, mostly because she is a muscly and strong girl and could overpower younger kids.
She is ok with cats but gets a little too curious about them and gets too close to them for their comfort, so preferably no cats.
