My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taz was surrendered to a shelter because his owners were expecting their first human baby and could no longer care for him. The shelter is an unpleasant place for any dog to live, but it's especially difficult for senior dogs and for certain breeds, including chihuahuas. Thankfully our rescue was able to step in and pull Taz from the shelter and get him into a safe, loving foster home. He weighs 8 pounds, is about 9 years old and is crate trained and house trained. He gets along well with dogs. He has met a cat and did fine with it. He has no teeth, so a soft/wet food diet is necessary. He also has a substantial heart murmur, which doesn't affect his daily activities. He's a mellow, sweet little guy who enjoys sitting outside in breezy, shaded areas. He loves to be pet once he's comfortable with the person, and prefers to sleep in the human bed. Taz is looking for a quiet, calm, low-key home where he share his love with a special person.
