Snowball's Story...
Snowball - Hi, I am a Bichon Friese/Lhasa Apso mix, 4 year old male. I spent my first 3 years as a breeder dog in a puppy mill. I am still getting used to my new life, but people aren't as scary as they used to be. I trust women more than men, but I do get along with other dogs, especially the females. I need a lot of patience, but it will be worth the effort for both of us.

If you are interested in adopting this dog from us, please fill out an adoption application. Upon approval of
an application, one of our volunteers will contact you to schedule
a home visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snowball, a Milwaukee Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Milwaukee, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Milwaukee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milwaukee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milwaukee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milwaukee paves the way for another one to be saved.
