Sweet Jared is one of our favorites. He is about 5-6 years old. Jared is very loving, sweet, inquisitive, gentle and kind. Sadly, Jared was abandoned and left to starve. He was most likely left to sit in feces and urine all day. Everyone at the shelter loved this sweet boy and begged LBWF to save him. He has proved to be a wonderful sweet dog. He is doing very well at LBWF and was placed on an A+ grain free diet and given herbs and nzymes. He is now ready for his forever loving home. Jared is up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped and neutered. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please fill out an application today. Southern CA adoptions only due to home checks. Applications can be found on our website www.LindaBlairWorldheart.org under the Adopt Today tab. The Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit California Corporation. Our work includes education the public, and working with state, local and national authorities to put an end to pet overpopulation as well as working at the national level to end illegal dogfighting. We visit our local shelters and find abandoned pets on death row, and we give them a second chance at a loving, permanent home. We are one of the few California rescue groups that rescue mothers and newborns (from one to five weeks of age), due to the high fee required by many shelters for their release of unaltered females who need tocontinue nursing their young. These animals are the first to be put to death in shelters. Shelters are unable to raise kittens and puppies and newborns cannot survive the diseases often found in such closely held captive environments. We give our rescued animals immediate medical care, proper nutrition, grooming, and socialization training. We have a few loving foster homes, but we need more caring foster parents. This temporary care canlast up to a year so the animal can adjust and heal any physical or emotional wounds. And it always takes time to find the perfect loving home.
