Important Note

Lenix *declawed* is best friends with Tuesday *declawed*. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
15 years old.

Healthy Lenix is looking to be adopted with his brother Tuesday because their current owner who loves them dearly has fallen ill and can no longer take care of them. Both cats are neutered, declawed, and make excellent companions. Lenix is a handsome brown tabby who is very friendly, while Tuesday is fluffy and white, but shy and likes to hide. They have lived with a young child, and a dog. They are both quite large indoor cats seeking a new family to love... will it be you? They sure hope so!

Lenix is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Nick directly at

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

***AUGUST ONLY*** All our cats two years and older have a reduced adoption fee of $100 (vs. our standard fee of $175).

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $100 per cat vs. $175 per cat.
