Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bella is a beauty, just like her name. Very small and very sweet, she was a very young mama. Her pups have all found new homes and it's time for this girl, just a puppy herself, to get the star treatment from her very own forever family. She is under 10 pounds and only about a year old now.
Bella lives in a busy household and gets along well with all the humans and animals living there. She is as quiet as a mouse and will sit sweetly on a lap our couch for hours, but does enjoy play time as well. The only time we've heard her make a peep is when there is really something to be concerned about.
Bella's coat is a gorgeous and soft gray with light tan. We don't know her mix for sure but could swear there is Yorkie in there as she doesn't appear to shed, and maybe Chihuahua? No matter, she is gorgeous and a sweet and gentle soul.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
