My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Oliver and my foster mommy says I am sweeter than I am cute! I am a calm, quiet kind of guy when it comes to people, but dogs - oh my gosh, do I love to play with dogs. I lived in a foster home and got along with 5 other dogs. I will try not to be offended that they're ready for me to leave, but I guess they don't won't to share their mama with even one more dog.

I also spend time with another foster mom, who adores me. But her dog is older and they are what humans called retired. They think I need a more active life, maybe with some young dogs or older children who will romp around with me? I do like having company at home, when the people who take care of me have to go to work and stuff!

I walk well on a leash, and love to go on walkies. I try to get up on my foster moms bed at night, but she leads me to my dog bed and I reluctantly snuggle in for the night. So, I don't have to sleep in your bed, but let's just say I don't mind a snuggle. It's one of my favorite things other than sitting for treats!!

Cats, well, I am ok with them if they're used to dogs. But if they're scared and run, I confuse them with those small yard critters and forget I'm not supposed to chase and hunt. Probably best that I don't go to a cat house, but it depends on the cat.

Because I'm kind of a calm, cool kind of cat - er, I mean dog, I'd prefer more mature kids than the young, noisy kind who innocently dangle food in front of me then get upset when I take it. But, I can learn anything. So, let's talk about it!
