King's Story...
King is a remarkable boy with a remarkable story. King survived a lot in a short amount of time. He was rushed into the clinic after his owners found him after he had been shot in the abdomen. After examination and x-rays we were able to see that there was an entrance and exit wound. He was very lucky that the bullet did not hit his kidneys. He had to be given tons of blood to sustain him. He luckily made it out of the surgery. He has not only survived, he has thrived. King is an amazing dog who is fully healed. He does well with other dogs and is very gentle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

King, a Indianapolis Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
