Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Liberty, because I was rescued very close to Independence Day. I am the poster child for the phrase, "a people-dog". I LOVE people. Pretty much, I haven't found anyone I don't love. I like most other dogs, too, although I tend to enjoy the company of my bigger, foster brother. We love to wrestle together. I'm a very smart, friendly, and talented girl. I already know a number of commands and I will shake your hand on introduction. My "sit" and "down" are rock solid. Please see my video to show me at work.
I'm very well-behaved, walk pretty well on a leash, and am calm in the house. I'm quite content lounging on the sofa and enjoying some quality, cuddling time with my family. Want to binge watch some TV show? I'm be happy to keep you company. I do have to admit that I'm a gregarious type of dog and I'm not fond of being left alone for long periods of time. I will not try to escape my crate, though. Thus, my perfect family would live in a house, allow me to be an integral part of the family, not mind if I lounge on a comfortable chair, enjoy taking me on walking/hiking/running trips, take me on car drives (I didn't mention it before, but I do love an excursion in the car), and teach me new tricks. I'm a relatively small size for a Rottie mix...weighing in at a sleek 55 lbs.
