Lilly's Story...
Lilly is a cute 4-month old female Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix puppy who was surrendered by her owner on July 20, 2017 along with her siblings (Colby, Sadie, and Sasha).

Lilly has a brown-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a sweet puppy face with a black muzzle and short floppy ears. Lilly has a rather reserved/demure disposition but is quite friendly. It's a big scary world when you are puppy by yourself in an unfamiliar place :(

Lilly weighs 37.2 lbs and will likely be a large girl when she reaches maturity.

Neither Lilly nor any of her siblings have had leash training yet, but thanks to our newest Humane Officer, Jon McIntire, each of these big puppies were carried outdoors so that they could make their preliminary petfinder/facebook debuts <3

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Marietta Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
