Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our boy Max is a young Hound Mix, estimated to be about 2 years old. He is likely part Beagle weighing in at a petite 22 lbs. Max came to us from a high-kill shelter in downstate Illinois. He had been surrendered with his Eski buddy who was in very sad shape. Max was surrended at a young enough age that he did not suffer the same neglect as his canine friend.
Max is a VERY ENERGETIC youngster! He loves running, playing, and jumping as high as he can. On the other hand, Max absolutely loves to snuggle, go for car rides, and long walks.
Max is in search of a family with dog experience, who is able to meet his need for physical activity and mental stimulation. He may even do well with some agility training. He will require a fenced yard and because of his jumping ability, will need a 6’ fence to keep him safe. He is wonderful with other playful dogs and would enjoy the company of children. Max is a wonderful young pup!
He is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested and on a monthly heartworm preventative, microchipped for permanent identification, and neutered.
