Oreo is a male Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle (Yorkie Poo) approximately 2 years old. He has a beautiful, soft curly coat of black and cream with a little touch of silver frosting on the ends. He has been professionally groomed and is non-shedding. Oreo is small, weighing only 9 pounds full grown. His ideal weight is probably closer to 12 pounds. Oreo is a lap dog all the way and meant for pampering and coddling. His favorite position is curled up snug in your lap and it doesn't matter if you are working in the office or taking a nap. He will rest quietly and comfortably nestled in next to you. Oreo is affectionate with people but will most likely bond closely and loyally with one or two favorites. He is not a fan of loud households or lots of commotion. He is a peace lover and a real doll. Oreo is good with other dogs, but its people that he cares about the most. He does not need another dog in the home to feel secure, but he would also do well in the company of another small, mellow, gentle dog. Oreo takes treats gently from your hand and will follow you dutifully from room to room. He is housebroken and has excellent indoor manners. As long as Oreo can be close to you and included in daily life, he is as happy as a clam. He walks very easily on leash and can go for walks here and there, or out running errands with you. He doesn't really require a whole lot other than a loving human and a warm home that he can feel safe in. Oreo was rescued from a high-volume shelter. He has been vet checked and is a healthy boy. Oreo is ready for his new forever home today!
Oreo’s adoption donation is $475 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
