Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Smokey came into the Jackson city shelter in late April as a very young, very small and scared puppy. With the help of the volunteers at the shelter he quickly gained a little confidence and blossomed into the class clown. He never failed to make us smile with his silliness, enthusiasm and playfulness. Smokey was quite popular with the other adoption dogs at the shelter - they seemed to think he was as funny as we did. But he was overlooked time and time again by the adopting families. And then on his most lucky day (7.22.2017), Smokey was picked by a foster family which gives him the chance to find a home in the New England area. We love this sweet, funny, happy, young guy! And think you would too!
Smokey is about 6 - 8 months old as of 7.22.2017. He is great with people of all ages and dogs of all sizes. Loves toys, walks with his people, rolling in the grass, belly rubs and having a safe place in the world to be cherished and loved.
Although Smokey is currently in Jackson, Mississippi, transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee. If you're interested in taking Smokey into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/
