Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little sparrow is approx 18 months old and 8 lbs. She is just a cute terrier mix. She is just a sweet girl, very timid and shy. Her foster mom says she follows her everywhere and loves to sleep on her bed at night. She is pretty well house and leash trained and gets along well with the fosters other dogs and her cats. As she is timid we require an all adult home.
The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. The application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
