If only the Port would let Norman in to trap the mom cat, this wouldn't happen every summer. We have 4 adorable kittens caught at the boat basin to the same mom cat that gave us 5 kittens last year. They live inside a locked fenced area near the canner in Charleston. They are a little shy but with a lot of positive handling they will make good pets, perhaps never a lap cat but a friendly one. They are scheduled to be spayed next week (7-24-17) and then be ready for a permanent home. Indoor only kittens. The calico is spoken for but we have a dilute torti and two dark torti's available. Our adoption fee for a kitten is $125, that is spayed, wormed, flea meds and vaccinations. Only 2 left at this time, hurry in to get the best kitten ever.

About Kohls Cat House

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a few good women and men who are worried about the state of our cat population here in Coos County. We take them into our cat house. It is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath house with two outdoor pens for sunshine. The cats have the run of the house except the infirmary where they spend at least 10 days upon arrival.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open 7 days a week, but we do shopping, laundry and other feline things such as trap, spay clinic and vet visits. So please call before arriving, make sure one of our many volunteers is here to assist you. Thanks for looking.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that you spend time with the feline of your choice, fill out an adoption form and realize this is a commitment of 15 or more years, the life of the cat. Our fees start are $35 or more per senior cat $50 per adult cat and $100 or more per kitten, this is a non refundable adoption fee. All have been spay/neutered, vaccinated, de-flea and de-wormed, some have been Felv/FIV tested.
