Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This Stevie is a wonder!
This handsome boy has the courage of a lion and the heart of a kitten. Stevie was found wandering on one of the naval bases - flea invested, lame and with obvious major vision problems. This survivor had also been hit by a vehicle in the past and has a pelvic fracture which wasn’t treated and didn't heal properly. He doesn’t let that slow him down though, he acts as if there is nothing amiss and walks and jumps and uses his litter box just fine.
One of the first things you find out about Stevie when you meet him is that he is the ultimate lap cat! He hasn’t met a lap he doesn’t like and he pretty much demands that you offer your lap to him. Once there, he settles in for a petting session – yes, pets are required ;-) He may stretch his paws to either side of your neck in a hug, or he may roll onto his back and lengthen his legs or he may curl up into a tight ball. It’s all good as long as he gets the loving he so richly deserves and cherishes.
Stevie is a people cat – he wants to spend as much time as he can with people and all he wants is TLC and he will give unconditional love and affection in return.
Are you looking for a wonder of a cat, a true survivor with oh so much love to give? If you are, you must come and meet Stevie – he is waiting for the purrfect person for whom he will be a faithful feline companion.
You can meet Stevie at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
Once you have met Stevie, if you are interested in adopting her, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.
You can read about the adoption process on the Adoption Information page.
If you have any questions, please contact the Cat Adoption Team by calling Bob at 619-840-9727.
