Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TAR
"Hi! I'm Tara! I'm about 6 months old, weigh 11 pounds, and I am a mix of many things, most likely some Dachshund. My foster mom rescued me and my dog family from living in a dirt den on the back side of Tome Hill. Another really, really nice lady had been feeding us. All the other dogs had gotten in the lady's crate, but not me! I was a Warrior and I wasn't going to go with these scary new beings! Then Suzanne came and pulled me out of my den and held me and let me know I was going to be alright. She saw that my back leg was bad and I couldn't feel it, so I had to have a surgery to remove it, but that doesn't slow me down. I am still really shy, but I have come a long way and I am house trained now and I walk on a leash. I love sleeping in my crate because it reminds me of my den and I feel safe in it. I really want a quieter family that understands that not all of us are big and brave, and who knows that's it's okay to be scared sometimes."
