Podrick's Story...
Podrick makes all the ladies swoon! With his loving and outgoing personality, beautiful marbled markings, soft, sleek fur, and cute little mustache...Podrick is a cat-lover's dream! Podrick is the perfect mix of sweet and playful. He loves to sit in your lap, be held, and snuggle. When you pick him up he just melts. He also loves to play with wand toys and gets along very well with the other cats and dog in his foster home. His foster dog sister is completely obsessed and loves to lick his ears and bottom, but he doesn't mind! He returns the favor by playing with her tail and paws! Podrick is a very social kitten and would do best with other cats or kittens in the home (if you need a second cat, we can help you out!). Podrick is fostered in Huntsville, Alabama and his adoption fee is $75. He is neutered, vaccinated, vetted, microchipped, and up-to-date on flea and tick prevention. If you are interested in adopting this amazing kitten, fill out an application at forrescue.net/cat-application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Podrick, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
