Facts about Wednesday

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Wednesday is a very affectionate boy who came to our rescue in need of medical care for a bowel infection. Wednesday has made a complete recovery, and now spends most of his time clowning around on the bed and on top of the fridge. Wednesday likes other cats and currently lives in a group of cats. He is very affectionate toward other cats and likes to play with others. A very good "friend" for a disabled cat. He is such good company in the morning, with coffee :)

About Renaissance Cats Rescue Group

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a partnership between Camden County College Student Vet Tech program, Alfred University Student Vet Tech program, and Renaissance Cats Sanctuary. We help cats who linger in shelters because of special needs. Many of our cats are NOT special needs, but may have come to us because of special circumstances. We try to fill in the gap where traditional rescues cannot help.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations (ThankYOU!) can be sent via PayPal to RENAISSANCECATS@GMAIL.COM. Everything goes to food and vet care!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Come see us at PetKraze Stores in Aston, Ridley, and Glen Mills, PA. We have adoption events monthly.

Our Adoption Process...

Thank you for adopting with us! We specialize in different or special-needs cats that many shelters do not have time or resources to help. Our goal is to let our cats experience a NEW BEGINNING, or Renaissance!
We are a little different. We offer more support than most adoptions.
While many adoptions are very fast, our adoption process is a little slower, so we can offer more support for you. Here is our process:
1. EMAIL robinhawk7@yahoo.com for APPLICATION:
(Here we will ask for your personal info, your other pets information, veterinary and personal references).
2. VET REFERENCES AND BACKGROUND CHECK
(We try not to be too invasive, but there are some not-so-nice folks posing as adopters. Here will call the references you provide, primarily your vet, to ask about veterinary care, and to make sure you are ready to invite a new cat into your life. Most people don't mind.)
3. MEET YOUR KITTY
(You and your family can meet the cat to make sure its a good fit for your home. We have a few different partner sites that make it easy to spend time with the cat.)
4. ADOPTION
(Home delivery of the cat, and we all celebrate!)
5. VETERINARY NURSE SUPPORT
(Our vet tech partners check in with you to make sure you are doing ok and support you if you or the cat is having difficulties)
Our numbers are growing fast-- so we will make sure to contact you as soon as we can. We are looking forward to inviting you to our Renaissance Cats family of adopters. We are here to support you long term and we look forward to hearing from you for many years after adopting from us.
