found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Major is one handsome Labrador - large and bouncy, with an enthusiastic attitude toward life! He lived as an outside dog for most of his life, and he has quickly adjusted to life with his TSBR foster. He plays great with other dogs, took quickly to his crate, intelligent, eager to please, and responsive to training.
This wonderful boy -
is happy and curious
follows people, and especially his foster brothers everywhere
loves to be on the furniture with you, but will also stay put on the floor for a minute or two
is interested in your dinner plate, but not obnoxious and listens well
has been vocal only while trying to get Rowdy to play!
loves to chew on big femur bones, especially in his crate or when bored
has not "retrieved" anything he shouldn't
has not counter surfed, but will put his paws up there to see what you're doing
has a very soft mouthed, just starting to pick up toys, and wasn't sure how to make one squeak - though he learned fast and is quite fascinated with it now!
As an adolescent Labrador, Major still has some growing to do - so his body and brain are not equals! The Labrador Retriever matures slowly, remaining a "teenager" for several years, which sounds fun . . . but does require patience and training to manage.
