Chewy's Story...
This blue eyed sweetheart is Chewy. He makes the cutest little sounds like the Chewbacca from Star Wars! He is a 47-pound bulldog mix who's looking for someone to love. He's 6 months old and full of fun and lots of energy. He loves to go running with his foster dad and play with his toys frequently. He gets along well with other dogs and finds cats very interesting, but would need to be monitored around cats. Riding in a car with him is entertaining as he's fascinated by the passing traffic! Chewy needs a family that is active and has ample time to play! He will bring lots of fun and love to his new home, guaranteed! A home with other dogs or children would be ideal.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chewy, a Southbury Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bulldog for sale in Southbury, or seeking a Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Southbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bulldog breeders who help with Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
