About Rockland-Orange-Furrever-Homes

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small group of volunteers committed to saving the lives of innocent and forgotten or surrendered cats and kittens from high kill shelters as well as local residents in need. We are committed to improving their lives and the lives of the people who will adopt and share their love. Because these kitties are fostered in our homes we get to know each one intmately which gives us great insight into their personalities and needs allowing us to truly make a good match with the adopters. We stand behind our pairings and kitties can be fostered short term if potential adopters have concerns. We are fully supportive so that our adopters can call text or email any questions or concerns they may be having We will always receive our kitties back into our loving arms should the adopter be unhappy with the pairing. Potential adopters can either choose another kitty or if it is within a reasonable time frame receive a refund of their adoption donation.

Our adoption donation is as follows;
$130 kittens up to 1.5 years of age multiple kittens $200.00
$75.00 for cats up to 5 years of age
$50.00 for cats 5 years of age and older
Special donation amounts apply for adults adopted with kittens.

Our Adoption Process...

Our process is as follows;
Obtain a vet reference or if adopters have never had animals we require two personal references.
Once references are are checked and approved we ask that you complete our application. We will review your information and once approved we will schedule a meet and greet at your home or at one of the fosters homes with one or more kitties of your choosing. If the meet and greet is not done at the adopters home we will deliver the kitty or kitties to your home.

If all goes well we will complete the adoption process
Our adoption fees help to defray the costs of vetting including but not limited to spaying or neutering, vaccines, deworming, preventative flea drops and the care of these animals until we can find them their furrever homes.
