Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet adorable May Belle, she was found as a stray and is just the sweetest, most quiet and docile little "mini" Black Retriever. She is only about 18 months old and just over 40lbs, the perfect size and perfect family dog. She is very sweet and loving, though seemed to have been neglected so she takes a few minutes to warm up and is a bit more shy of men but never ever shows any apprehension, she is submissive and if you meet her, you will just want to love and sunggle her. She would really benefit from having a home with another dog, she looks to any other dog for direction and has probably never been with out a buddy. She never barks and is very complaint, you can do anything with her and she is always on board. She is working on not being scared to walk on a leash but at this time, would be best to have a yard because she can be nervous of going potty while on a leash, though gets better every day. She is the epitome of pure love and innocence and is very eager to learn and is food motivated. She is mellow when in the home and loves to play. She is learning what toys are and is very trusting when she knows you love her. She is so very loved with us and is doing amazing in her foster home. She is a total love but shy.She has come a long way to coming up to you. Though she may have had a rough start, this girl is great with anyone and anything and will blossom quickly. We would prefer she have another dog though, if the right home, we could see her doing well without a companion, she just loves dogs, is fine with cats and kids also, she loves kids. She is learning what the car is and is a beautiful little girl. She is house/crate trained and is fine when left alone at home. Come meet her anytime! She is being fostered in Lebanon, ME.
May Belle is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm negative and has a valid health certificate.
