Peaches's Story...
Hi, my name is PEACHES and I am a STUNNING PERSIAN mix. My previous owner could no longer care for me so Posh Pets Rescue took me in. I am a sophisticated lady at about ten years old. I have an old corneal ulcer on my eye that my foster mom says gives me "character." My coat is SOFT, FLUFFY and a GORGEOUS gray with specks of peach. I am FRIENDLY and OUTGOING and like to EXPLORE new places and don't mind meeting new people. I would make an amazing COMPANION CAT for any human. I even previously lived with other cats so I can go to a home by myself or with other cats. I am currently in a foster home in Westchester, NY. I am UTD on shots, FIV/FeLV negative and spayed.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Greenburgh Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Greenburgh, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Greenburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
