Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COMING SOON! Available in September.
Betty Boop is an adorable little senior beagle girl, approximately 8 or 9 years old. She is 13"tall, and weighs 22 lb. She is a perky, funny, and loyal little one. She keeps her foster parents laughing at her all the time.
When her photo appeared on a local shelter list, she was a pitiful sight. She had a case of mange, was missing fur, and was so depressed that it seemed she might be on the verge of giving up. Thankfully, the rescue director at the shelter connected with her and took her home to save her life and get her started on recovery, until our organization was able to find a foster home for her.
Betty Boop's transformation has been amazing!! It is hard to believe that she is the same dog now. She is so energetic, going in and out the doggie door multiple times a day to check for critters, dancing excitedly when the leashes come out at walk time, and following her foster parents all around the house. She loves going on rides in the car, and is always up for an adventure, especially a visit to a pet store. In quiet times, she can be found next to a foster parent or hanging out with the resident senior beagle in the home.
Her fur is now shiny and she is beautiful. It was difficult to choose from the many photos we have taken of her, so ask to see more of them if you are interested in adopting little B.B. Her adoption fee is $150. To start the adoption process on her , or any of our other Beagles, please go to our website at www.HoustonBeagleRescue.org and click on "About Adoption" to complete our application to adopt.
