This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.
NAME: Shadow

Meet Shadow. This girl is super sweet and adores people. She will shadow you everywhere, as she loves being with you. We are looking forward to finding her a forever home.
Shadow was found roaming the street by a good Samaritan. They looked for her owners for over a month, and when they could not find them, asked CRT to bring her in to our program. We are thrilled to help this sweet girl find a forever home.
Shadow adores people. She is a bit shy when you first meet her. But she warms up quickly and then becomes your best friend. Once she knows you, she is very outgoing and friendly. She loves hanging around you. If you have a home office, she would love to hang with you. And of course she wants to sit with you as you watch TV so she can cuddle and share some loving memories with you.
Shadow also gets along great with dogs of all sizes. She loves to hang around the dogs in her foster home and will even join in on the playful times. We have not seen her playing with toys yet, so we are not sure if toys interest her at all. She does enjoy running and exploring in the back yard though, so would be happy with a yard to play in.
Shadow is smart. She is already potty trained and even knows how to use a doggie door. She is also crate trained. She is very quiet - we have not heard her bark once in her foster home. She is about 1 1/2 years old, so has a long life ahead of her. Shadow weighs about 8 pounds and will be perfect for a family with children. She loves everyone of all ages and she is sturdy enough to play and cuddle with people of all ages!

Shadow is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative. and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
